Depends on what feeling you want in your design.

Colors on the blue/green side of the colourwheel are termed cool colors. Blue reminds us of the sky and sea and relaxes, instills calmness and harmony. Green indicates nature, which has this connotation of cleansing and contemplation.
Colors on the red and orange side of the colors wheel are known as warm colors. Red refers to feelings of anger and danger and will stimulate and promote activities. Yellow refers to happiness and brightens the mood, makes one laugh and smile, it’s refreshing and promotes intellectual activities.
Colors that fall on the cusp of the warm and cool colors such as red-purple and yellow-green can be with warm or cool depending on their shade.
