hello everyone im new to the forums and photoshop and i need some help

my problem is that i have this image that i want to display on my site (see my sig) but the problem is that i dont have a white bg so when i include the image, the image has the white bg on it so it looks kinda weird on my site

so is there a way to change the bg color of the image with photoshop or is there any other solutions?

i tried doing a search but didnt get any answers, maybe im searching the wrong thing, i dont really know...

Did you try saving it as a transparant gif?

this might sound stupid, but how do i save it as transparent .gif?

Save for web, and than choose gif. If you don't have a white background as you say, this will save it as a transparant gif.

no sorry but that doesnt do it right away, since you mentioned the word "transparent" in your first post i did a little search in the here and found out the solution to my problem

i guess the word "transparent image" was the keyword i was looking for :p anyway thanx for the help
