Hi All,

I am currently messing around with PostScript for something I need to do at my company. In order to display an image in PostScript, I have to strip off the data from a bitmap image that contains the actual image data, which I am able to do directly from the bitmap itself. However, the image does not show properly in my PostScript file.

I tried taking that same bitmap and converting it to an Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file, and then stripping off the image data. That works.

My question to everyone is, what modification(s) to the bitmap file is Photoshop doing that changes the image data?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason
