Ok, im trying to figure out how to reduce the color depth. I used the in-PS help/search and couldnt come up with how to reduce it.

Anyone happen to know?

You mean less than 8-bits per channel? I don’t think you can… (well, 1-bit in Bitmap Mode) Targa files can be saved at 5-bits/channel.
What (effect) are you trying to achieve?

Do you mean making the colours less bright? thats image.ajustment.hue saturation just move the saturation slider to the effect you want.
If you want to reduce the number of colours in the image save it as a gif and select the no of colours you want. Otherwise as Chadland has said for bits in the image. Wayne
