Photoshop exports projects too light, prints too dark

After making a project in Photoshop and making look the best I can from the perspective that is shown on the screen, I print it and it turns out much too dark. If I export it to a JPEG file, and view the file in another windows program, the file is much to light, and nothing close to what I saw on the screen in photoshop.

I really don't know anything about these colour profiles, RGB or CMYK or anything like that, all i know is that there is something or many things that are't configured right in my computer settings, and any help to fix this would really be useful, as it is very difficult for me to create projects when both outputs are completly different.
