Anyone know a workaround for this one? I do lots of photomanipulations. I often have to select a figure. The pen tool takes too long and for most of what I do yields no better results than the polygonal lasso. The problem is that when I am half way round suddenly a line appears form the starting point to the point I am working on. I have to use "add to selection" but the same thing happens, taking the job ages to complete. This must be a memory problem as it only happens when I am working on big high resolution files. I have vista 32 bit and 4 gigs of ram, and have(I think) got memory allocation in Photoshop sorted. I close down everything I can when I am working on large files. Anyone any ideas? |
