Hello,
I have a problem. My photoshop has become so slow. It used to be great then just went slow. I have re-installed it but no differenace. I have has a few error messages one was
1/ You currently have adobe Photoshop's primary scrath as windoes' primary paging file on same volume, which can result in reduced performance. It is recomended that you set adobe Photoshop's primary scratch volume to be on a different volume, preferable on a different drive.
2/ Was something like photoshop is not currently set as you defult something.. this could cause it to run slow. But i cant remember what that message was.
can some one please help me. |

If you don't have 2 hard-drives or a partitioned hard-drive you can safely ignore problem 1. It is just telling you it would run more effectively if you installed Photoshop on it's own drive. It won't really impact on the performance if you have it installed differently.
Problem 2 does not sound that serious either. I would guess that it is maybe not your default image editor messages you are getting, if it is don't worry about it too much.
In your Photoshop Preferences (Inside the actual program Edit>Preferences>Memory&Image Cache) change the percentage of memory given over to Photoshop to about 60% - 80%.
