Thanks All...

I am new here and looking for come critique/advice on an underexposed photo with a color cast that I must fix!

I will show the original and working file...if anyone can advise on the color correction, etc. Also I don't think the cast is that bad, but it makes a really dark print and I can't lighten the image without introducing some noise.

I appreciate all feed back

In the "corrected" picture I have used:
A duplicate Layer set to Screen Mode (to lighten)
A Brightess/Contrast Layer (Trying to get the print version lighter)
A Curves Layer (with the shadow/highlight and midtones sampled from the picture)

Thanks for any comments/help

Hey visable_darkness,

My first thoughts are to maybe go to the shadow/highlights command from the adjustments submenu, I'm sure this will help bring back some of those overly dark shadows. Curves is good for the colour issues, especially if you can work on a channel-by-channel basis. I'm not sure screen blending's doing the image any favours though, seems to be blowing a load of highlights.
Hope this helps
