I have a button with text, developed in PSE 7 and viewed on a website with firefox. My button is 14 px wider than the text as viewed on firefox. However, same button dimensions, same font type and size in photoshop leaves only 2 px wider than text. Shouldn't this be the same? Does firefox render a font wider than photoshop? What am I missing?

Thanks in advance.

Actually the text width in firefox must be narrower, not wider. Sorry.

Also, firefox wouldn't be rendering a font since the text is part of the button image.

I'm stumped.

I found that the button was being stretched in firefox by a combination of incorrect html image width values as well as inherited css layout settings that needed to be over-ridden. Just a coding error and not a photoshop problem.
