Hello,
I would like to ask if other Photoshop users are perferring the new CS(2) versions or sticking with the previous more prevalent versions.

Photoshop templates for websites are usually provided at v6 compatibility (please visit http://www.netizenexpress.com to see what I'm talking about). In your opinion, should templates be provided as v7 or even CS+ compatible files?

Your thoughts would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I'm still using PS6, and it works fine for most purposes. The particular copy I have is buggy, and my computer is stupid, so I sometimes get crashes and weird lags, but I don't think that's a problem with that version. I've heard that PS7, CS, and CS2 are all wonderful, and I'd suggest buying one of them so you're more up-to-date and don't have to update as frequently.

Agreed. I use v6.0.1 for any and everything to do with pictures, as I feel it handles colors better for printing. I can see where both 7 and CS would have their advantages for the web design though.
