I have PSCS4 installed/registered/activated/running on a PowerMac running OS X 10.5. Some work requires a graphics tablet. Instead of dropping $1,000 on a Wacom I bought a Toshiba Portege M200 running Windows XP Tablet PC Ed for a mere $250. Working great sharing files and using the Windows computer as a really smart graphics tablet. was using Gimp/Photo, but found Photoshop 3.0 (I think 3.0.5 due to serial number) for $1 at Goodwill store and am trying to install it on the Portege. Not happening. I start setup.exe from CD or FDD and it just stops without error or message of any kind. XP does have all updates installed including SP3 and I have tried compatibility modes of 2000 and 98. Don't need to buy another copy of Photoshop for the kind of work I am doing with the Portege. Version 3.0 will do hat part fine if I can get it installed. It is registered into my Adobe account with the original serial number. Most work is done on the PowerMac. Anyone have any ideas how I could get Photoshop 3.0.? to install on this Windows XP Tablet PC Edition? |
