I don't really know all the technical details on this one, but the problem is basically that if you save your images in png or jpeg, their colors will appear to be different from say a web background with the same hex-values. At least in some cases, it's different from computer to computer.
The work around is to save graphics in .gif, while only saving photos and highly detailed graphics in jpeg or png. With the .gif-format, you'll not encounter these problems. Another work around is to simply create a 1x1 jpeg or png with the desired background color, and then use it as a background image. _________________ http://pannpann.deviantart.com |
