What is the difference between photoshop cs 4 and photoshop cs4 extented. I want to upgrade to cs5 and wonder if it is worth it to pay extra for extended.

The main difference are the 3D functions of photoshop and HDR photo editing functions if your a photographer.

Here is a webpage which explains it in a bit more detail and has a link to adobes official comparison PDF (which i don't think is that great at listing standards shortcomings)...
