Hi Jeff,
No Flash just Photoshop. I first created the layer and layer groups for each object in the animation and then moved what I needed to move (patiently) then after each move I made a merge layer function to record the move and then put the merged layer one on top of the next and ran them as an animation which was then exported as a movie. Sound was added in imovie. Good fun but a lot of work.

well it's perfectly amazing, and I think you did a fantastic job. It's amazing how much a person can keep learning about adobe software. It just never ends, and that's what I love about it. I've never tried anything like what you did, and now I want to! I'm having a bit of trouble understanding some of it, but should you ever get the time, it's most worthy of a tutorial.

I'm not sure if it makes you insane or is even more impressive that you did it all in PS ;)

Hi dawidtailor...when you want to create a snapshot of all your layers in photoshop and have it merge onto a new layer= go to the "layer menu" along the topbar and hold Alt then scroll down to "merge visible" and it will work. Hope this helps!
