|
|
Hi,
We have a problem where we cannot save to nework shares using photshop 7 - below are some more details:
Server - Windows 2003
Workstations - 2 - Both XP SP1 - both have same issue
Server has 1.5 TB of space on drive (TB may be the problem?) Both folder and share have the correct permissions (i.e write and modify to all relevant areas but not full control) Disk quota NOT active.
Both WS have the same OS version and version of Photoshop (7.0.1). When either tries to save a file (save or save as) to the shared folder they get a Photoshop error "Could not save as 'file name' because the disk is full"
Both workstations can save directly to the share via other apps (Word, Illustrator, etc.)
Both workstations can drag-drop a file to the share without a problem.
Checked Adobe and Microsoft online, there does not seem to be any available updates, could not find anything in the KB
Thanks for any help offered,
Steve |

I am aware of that. This probelm has only happened since we moved the data to a NAS solution, and after doing a search on the problem, i have found others are expericing it, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas?
As you can imagine, if you are working with gb's of photo's, it is not really very practical to copy them from a network share, work on them, and copy them back. |
