Hi there,

I've used Photoshop for a while, but I've only recently started using the Pen Tool for vector images.

I was wondering, is there any way to remove a section from the centre of a vector image? I am trying to cut the interior piece of an "A" out, and for the life of me, can't figure out how to do it/if it is indeed possible.

I am using Photoshop CC. Currently the 'inside' bit is on a different layer, but even once I've combined them and used the Path Selection tool, then tried to delete it, it still does not seem to work.

Any ideas about how to do this?

Cheers,
Paula

Check the tool options ay the top, set the inside path to subtract from shape.
