Hello, I have a question about about putting an image over another one and having the bottom image show through the transparent parts. This is for a website so I would like to know if this is something I have to change or is it something in the webpage coding.
What I want to do is have a ring like so:
And if it has a special skill, have a gem on it like so:
effectivly showing this:

Right now, I just saved a gif with the gem on the ring but in the end there will be around 6 diff rings and 7 diff gems. So it'd be simpler if I got this to work.

Thanks in advance

If you make a table, put the ring in the background of the cell and center the gem above it as content of that cell

yeah i think that would be the fastest way to do this or you can make all the possible combinations in ps.. but that may take a while and will cause you to load a lot more images and thus require more loading time of the page.

Well there is another transparant format, namely png.. unfortunately IE doesn't support it, so really teh only thing to do is use gif.
