Is it possible to take accurate measurements from the rulers on CS6? If for e.g. I put guides on an image from the web will the measurements shown on the ruler translate into actual measurements on the ground so to speak. I have seen a design (non-copyright)
which I would like to make but really need some idea of the scale of it. I hope that is clear, don't know how better to express it.
thanks

If you have a known measurement you can set the ruler for that and use it to set a custom measurement scale. Use the drop-down menu in the Measurement log to bring up the custom window.

Thanks Hawkeye. I'll give that a go.
