I know all of you can answer this question but since I am new to photoshop im prty noob so. I need to make a sig but the picture is to big and I want just from like the neck up in it so I dont know what to do?

If you need basic help F1 might be of some use to you when in Photoshop.
Pressing the C key will bring up the Crop Tool, you can then drag a rectangular box to your desired size.

umm, move the part of the pic you want into view, you can leave the rest hanging or ig your worrined bout size, crop it. you could open a new thing but make it the size of the pic, crop it there and then copy it into your sig. |

Heres whats goint wrong I crop the image and then move it with the move tool into the sig but when it gets there its HUGE. |

What resolution and pixal size have you set your image to?
This may be the problem

when editing pictures, i often edit them in a screen 1000, 1000, pixles, with 500 or more pixels to an inch |

man sig are usally 100 x 500 if u can get them on the fourm, idd use 100 x 300 the copy and past (save as a jpg to get all layers:P) the ctrl + T is transfourm and put 2 size
