Hey peeps
Just started out on photoshop and im kinda stuck
I need to find out how you blur a picture, but only the back ground?
As in a picture of a car, and i only really want the car to be noticable/in colour? and the background to kinda fade away/blured in black and white?

Is there a way to use a tool to do it manually instead of using the lasso tool etc?

Fanku in advance Cool

Use any way to get your car on another layer. Then blur the background layer. I thought manually is actually doing it yourself (with the lasso tool etc...) ?

if you dont need it to be PERFECT then you can just simply use the blur tool and just get close to the car, most REAL pictures blur slowly out from the middle anyways so it won't look odd if you do it correctly
