Nice job. I'd recommend doing it as a GIF, with the background as a transparent area. That way, the rectangular edges of the image disappear.

Nice.
Displays fine in Firefox, Safari and MSIE for Mac. Just that oddball MSIE for Windows that can't display png correctly. But who uses that?

:raises hand timidly:

I forgot to check if it was a PNG. Still probably a good idea to do it as a GIF. GIFs have enough transparency support for an image like this, and they're more widely supported.

I had meant that to come across sarcastically. :)
You are right Datameister. For now, until MSIE 7 is out and entrenched, GIF with a proper matte color to get the soft drop shadow is the way to go.

Good idea for a sig!
Although the edge on top of the sig is a bit jaggy!

Nice! The only thing I can really point out is the slight pixelation at the top. The background doesn't bother me at all. It kind of emphasizes that it's slanted.

I know you were just being sarcastic. :) It's unfortunate how IE for Windows doesn't support some of the coolest features out there...
