hey guys, this is my first post here and i thought i would get aquainted with everybody. i began with photography a few years back and edited my photos on gimp. as i was getting more familiar with gimp i got interested in digital art and before i knew it i had changed over to photoshop and was starting on a portfolio. i am only 16, so i dont have a portfolio like you seasoned photoshop veterans on these forums, but i got a start and im enjoying every second of it. i hope to maybe one day make my work into a profession or at the very least a side job. but anyways, i was just hoping to meet some of yall fine folks and get started here on the forum.
i want to go ahead and say thanks as i am sure i will be posting here many times in the future for some good comments and criticism.

Love the photo in your post Ethan...I'm new here too! I don't have a professional portfolio yet but I'm getting there and you're right - we all have to start somewhere. Best wishes...looks like you have a great start there!
