Need help about the Depth option in BMP options dialog

Posted: Sun Mar 22, 2009 5:09 am Post subject: Need help about the Depth option in BMP options dialog

When saving image into BMP format, there is a Depth options in the BMP Options dialog which the values consist of: 16 bit, 24 bit, and 32 bit. So the question is very simple, which value I must choose between the three? In the "Save as" dialog, there is a "Alpha Channel" checkbox, do you think I should check it?
