I am working in Final Cut Express and need just an outline of a drawing to put ontop of a video clip.

Its a very simple drawing but have never used photoshop before. I am using PSE 3. Is there an easy way to coach me through this? The deadline is tommorow and I would like to have it look a certain way.

Like I said I am in a jam so please give me whatever you got!

Thanks in advance.

John

Open the drawing in photoshop, add a new layer (under the layers menu) then get the brush tool and pick a smallish plain round brush, then on the coloured squares on the left click on the front colour and pick any colour you like, now just draw around the edge of the drawing (check the top new layer is the one your drawing on) when you have finished just drag the bottom layer (the original) to the trash can on the layers palette now all you have to do is save the layer with your tracing in a format that supports transparancy PSD or Tiff check wich you need for the video format.
