|
|
I'm lost. I called Adobe and was on the phone for 2 hours with no resolution.
My setup:
iMac OSX v10.8.5
CS6 Photoshop
Scenario:
When making a selection using the marquee tool (square or circle) the function of PRESSING THE SPACEBAR while keeping your left mouse button depressed should allow for the SELECTION AREA to be moved. Removing your finger from the spacebar again allows for the marquee to be resized. You can repeat the spacebar function over and over.
I've used this standard photoshop function for years and suddenly the function no longer works. I didn't change any settings in photoshop nor my keyboard functions.
What I tried:
1)Adobe support had me remove files from the library>preferences> folder to basically go back to the original settings with no luck.
2)I uninstalled photoshop and re-installed with no luck.
Any ideas for getting back this function would be greatly appreciated...I use it all the time. |

It works for me but I'm on a PC. Maybe it's a Mac thing? |

Just the standard adobe updates whenever they were released. My other work computer has the same updates and works properly? |

If it is the same operating system then that is curious. I hope you find a solution. |

Command+Option+Shift as you open PS and keep them held. It almost insulting advice, but short of a conflict with something I am a little nonplussed. That and trawl your PS for anything in the menus that could be responsible. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
