I'm wondering how to stretch text in a similar manner to the text on the Nacho Libre poster and the book How To Survive a Robot Uprising. |

Almost, but how about something more like the text in this page:
http://www.robotuprising.com/home.htm
Note the menu items and the title of the page.
It's basically extruding without perspective more or less, or stroking at an angle. |
