I want to add lighting effects to photos, but the result always darkens the photo everywhere except where I set the new lighting, as if I turned the lights out and hit the image with a flashlight (or whatever other lighting type I choose.) Will the lighting filter just ADD the lighting effect without affecting the rest of the original picture? Something like a HIGHLIGHT? Or EXTRA lighting to the image?
