Hello! I joined up for the sole purpose of trying to solve this problem that is really making me mad.
I have Photoshop 7--yes, I know it's ancient, but I can't afford a newer version--and sometimes, when I am trying to make a selection with the Polygon Lasso or Magnetic Lasso, the selection closes automatically before I'm finished with it. The screen will sort of flicker, and suddenly the selection closes. If I close Photoshop and reopen it, this sometimes helps, but once it's been in use for awhile the same problem happens again. I don't have a tablet, only a mouse, and I'm using Windows 8. In doing some research, I noticed that this glitch with the lasso tool occurs in newer versions, as well, and across different operating systems, but nobody seems to know why or what to do about it. Please can someone help me?? There has to be a fix for this issue!  |
