I am trying to paint on a 3D model in Photoshop CS6. I import my obj model, load my texture, which is a multi-layered PSD. If I double click the texture, it opens as a .PSB file which contains all of my layer information.
What I want to do is paint on my model in 3D, clone stamp some layers, use all of the great photoshop tools, while having the PSB open and "synched up" showing the changes. Then I want to paint into the PSB, and have the model show me the updated texture.
The problem is, these keep getting unsynced, and suddenly the changes to one don't affect the other. I then have to close the PSB, re-open it by double clicking my texture, and begin again.
Is it possible to do this without having to re-open the PSB constantly? |
