this is was a drawing i did for an anatomy class. and i painted it up today in photoshop.. im going to desaturate the ipod a little later on but your insite is apreciated. thanks!

Funny I do pen and ink drawings and did a series of hand drawings. Hands are a fascinating subject.

Very strong hands, slender fingers has a Burne Hogarth look to them. Very nice.
Hands are wonderful to draw, and there right there! lol

Indeed they are fun to draw, and they are always available haha. thanks for the comments.
One of my instructors was telling me that if you can draw realistic hands and faces then you can almost fake the rest of it. i forget who did this, but there is an artist who had paintings of what seemed to be almost photorealistic figures but once you really look at it, the hands and faces were perfect, but the anatomy and the rest of the body was a little off and not very fluid. i thought it was pretty interesting. ill have to get the artist's name.
