Sometime ago I had a problem with Acrobat 6 Professional that I installed as part of Photoshop CS and had to uninstall the programme. Now I cannot get it reinstalled. One of two things happen. 1) When the programme starts to install the Windows Installer dialogue box pops up with a whole lot of information which looks suspiciously like the sort of information that one would get running a DOS command with /h, i.e. help information. The programme continues to install in the background but if I press OK to close the dialogue box the installation process ends in a matter of minutes - and to all intents and purposes it behaves as though the installation is complete. However, there is no programme to launch.
2) If I do not close the dialogue box then the programme installation seems to go around in circles "Now installing: Adobe Acrobat - Language Dependent Files"
If anyone has any ideas I would be very happy to hear them.
