I recently sent some TIF files to a photo magazine and was told that they were scanned too small (they came from my EOS 20D) and they needed them at 220mm by 300mm. The TIFFs were not cropped or reduced from the original RAW size and on screen clearly go to A3+ size without pxelation but the imag size information on CS indicates that the image size is only 164 by 247 mm.
Can anyone help ?
thanks

I think that depends on your resolution. A screen shows a resolution of 72 dpi (well most of the time this is the screenresolution) and to print they probably need 300 or even 600 dpi. When you scanned it at 300 dpi or higher, it will show bigger on your screen since that can only show 72 dpi.
Hope this helps.. _________________ Witam

Hi Witam
The resolution according to the image size dialog box in PS is 360dpi ?? According to the Canon Manual the RAW images should be suitable for printing up to A3+ ?
thanks
