I have an image i made. I duplicated it several times and added ripple to each one. How would i go about compiling them into a .gif in imageready? would i be better to do it in flash?
thx

The easiest way would have been to make multiple layers of your one image; adding ripples in each subsequent layer. Then in IR Animation palette just select “Make Frames From Layers” and that’s it. You have an animation based on the layers of one file. |

ok. i got so far as you told me, but what then.
how do i properly tween them, or do i? when i tell it to add tween, it adds frames, but the frames are all the exact same frame, so the only motion is still the last 5 or so frames.
all i want is for the image to have a slight ripple effect, as if its just barely under some calm water.

Hmm…. I think that is not doable (well) with a simple GIF animation. IR tweening modifies opacity, location and effect parameters only. Flash only tweens vector shapes (I think). Maybe Director? Never used it. Good Luck. |
