Hey, I'm trying to put text on top of a picture but when I move the text on top of the picture it looks like its underneath the picture instead of on top making the text color look like grey compared to the black that I want. How do I fix this? Bawling

Thanks so much!

a couple things may be going on here,

first when you select and use the text tool, it uses the foreground color as the text color, so check this setting,

second, make sure the layers are aranged so the text is at the top,

also, make sure you are using a "Normal' blend mode in the layer pallet.

good luck
