Good Morning All-

I am trying to make a new layer by clicking the "Create a new Layer" icon, and it comes up with the checkerboard look (which I think means clear or empty), but I need it to be white and I don't know how to change that. Could somebody be able to help me with how I can make that happen??

thanks so much for you time, please let me know if you have any questions of me.

Sincerely- Douglas

D or Shift D to change colour swatch to default b&w and then press Alt and Backspace to fill with foreground colour (black) or Ctrl+Backspace to fill with background colour (white in this case).
