Welcome to the forum. It depends upon your starting point. If you have an image with similar tones to start with it shouldn't be too difficult to analyse. From eye, it looks like a blue caste in the shadows and an introduction of yellow into the whites. I imagine that yellow and magenta have been introduced into the skin whilst boosting the black a little.

So, in answer to your question, channels and masking.
