I'm working on a project to put a simple ad in a small magazine publication, but when I submitted the full page, CMYK ad, they said the ink Density is 400%; they can only accept up to 300% or it would end up getting an extremely muddy ad. They asked if I can you reduce each color by 25%? This should get the values down to 300.
Can anyone give any help or clues?
Thanks!

or, to make this really simple, open up the color settings, under working spaces, choose custom under cmyk, and then in the next box that pops up, make sure the total ink limit says 300%. That should do it! The info on the above link is really good though. |
