Didn't want to read and run, without any disrespect, going by you asking how to create a pointy sharp line, it would appear that you don't know a lot about photoshop, then I couldn't begin to explain how to help you with the rest. However, I can do it for you if you need something doing? unless you can tell me you know a little bit about the tools etc then I can try and explain it the best I can (I wouldn't make a good teacher, but I could do your homework for you) ;) lol x

Hey Jin Kazama,

I think these tutorials might help you.

For the line, see this:

http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/how_can_i_stroke_a_path_with_a_tapered_brush_in_cs5_6 (Mike Shaw's answer)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcB_ePR1BuE

For the shadow on the right side of Dark Sonic, see this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bx16nbZmU3I (just the first minute and a half or so)

Hope that helps or, at least, gets you started!

Patrick

No worries, SC. :)

Glad I could help, Jin Kazama. I'm not the most helpful person here. :)

For the line, what about using the Simulate Pressure option when drawing the line?
