Sup guys! First of all, sorry if this isn't the right section to post this (My bad!)
You see, I have a waccom bamboo and suddenly half of the pen stopped working. What I mean by "half" is that the eraser part still works. I don't have any problem with using just the eraser as a pen, but for some reason, when I use photoshop or other adobe products It just auto-picks the eraser and I can't change tools no matter what.
Is there some way to stop the program from doing this?
I can't get acces to a new tablet right now, and with other products that aren't from adobe it works just fine, but I really want to keep using photoshop and is a little difficult if the only tool you can use is the eraser.
Thanks everybody in advance and sorry if the question is silly or it bothers!! |

So I take it that it is always on eraser even when using the tip of the pen not the back end.
Have you dropped the pen lately? Sounds like it could be broken.
Most products that aren't adobe don't actually register which end of the pen it thinks is being used so if the tablet is only picking up the signal of the eraser by malfunction then other programs will still act normally.
Go into wacom tablet properties on your system and it should give you an idea if the pen part of it is being registered on the surface as you can test the pressures in the pen and eraser tabs. |

Yeah, the pen part seems to be broken and I asked most of the computer shops at my area and they don't fix it. I don't have a problem with working with the eraser end, but little I can do if photoshop doesn't let me work with anything but the eraser. |
