|
|
Hi all,
This is finally my first post here. I've been reading most of these forums for quite some time, so I'm not exactly new.
Anyway, I need some help from the experts here on a technique that I'm attempting to emulate. It's hard for me to explain, so I'll point you to a link:
http://www.riotsgraph.jp/pochistyle/launch.html
That is a website by a graphic designer called Pochi. Pochi designs lots of icons and backgrounds for PSP (Playstation Portable) applications. There's a certain effect that is used in each of his backgrounds. Click on "Tab transparence", "Semitransparency", or "Solid" to view larger versions of any of those.
The effect that I'm looking to mimic is the small lines in the background. Each of his backgrounds have a very nice grain and gradient applied to the background. I was wondering what the best way to mock this is.
Thank you,

Hmm... the link to download that plug-in is broken.
Thanks for the help, I'll try the other option that you suggested. |
