I'm actually colourblind, so I'm having trouble finding the standard white, and black. Just wondering if anyone knows the codes for both black and white so I can just enter it  Thanks

in hex:
black is #000000
white is #ffffff
Basically, 6 zeros or 6 F's
When you enter the hex value you should then see the RGB value in the color palette, at least I think so.

I had to match a non-standard color once to get the HEX code. I was able to copy the colored part (part of a gradient) into photoshop and use the eyedropper tool to pick the color I wanted. The RGB values were displayed and I went to a website that had a RGB to HEX converter and got the code that way.

The Photoshop color picker has a field for HEX codes at the bottom right. If you can get a screenshot of a color and bring it into Photoshop, you can get the HEX, RGB, CMYK, HSB, or Lab codes.

If you use Firefox Browser to surf it comes with a colour picker extension that site unobtrusively in bottom left of the browser - I like it, but there are probably similiar stand alone products for IE Browsers.
