ok i have just started using photoshop its just for fun messing about i have a picture of the statue of liberty and a picture of a mates head the statue is the background and his head is the layer how do i get his head to go the same green as the statue
sorry if im stupid ive only just started

I’d use the Color Picker and then the Gradient tool.

I’m guessing this does not have to be real high quality work…
One easy way (though not the best) is to use the eyedropper to set your foreground color to the green of the statue. Then choose a soft brush, set its mode to Color in the option bar, and paint the green color over your friend’s face. (Locking the transparency of the layer with the head image will make it even easier.)
