I am having an impossible time trying to effect this change in a product shot.
Please see Before/After photo attached.
I cannot remove the label text on the left and right side of the jar without smearing the edges.
I'm using the Healing Brush and the Clone Tool. Obviously, I'm either not using it/them correctly, or I'm approaching this task totally wrong.
Is this task even do able?
Thanks in advance.

The healing tools, as you're finding out, are trick to use at edges of things.
But the Clone Tool should work well. Just sample a spot at the edge between the two lots of text, and clone merrily. Make sure the tool is set to "Aligned" in the options bar.

Thank you very much for your response. You actually triggered an idea. I applied the Clone Tool FIRST this time and then went back and cleaned up the area with the Healing Tool (staying away from the edges!). Much, much better routine and result.
Thank you!
