Hi All,
first time user here - i hope somebody can help me find a solution to this problem:
I am a photographer working on an Panoramic which I recently shot. In order to get the most out of the scene, I metered the sky, which meant that the foreground was dark. Because I shot on a TIFF format it didnt matter too much as I knew I could drag plenty of detail out of the forground with the Levels layer. This I did so then I set about deleting the sky section in order to get an evenly exposed image. All was going fine until I hit an area of high detail, a fence with meshing. You see I am using the brush tools to delete the part of the layer I dont want - but - the detail is so fine and inticate around this part its making the image look fake. I hope I have explained this sufficently enough! Take a look at the image. The dark sky is the original image and the part I am trying to reintroduce - however it is very difficult to achieve around areas of high detail. Even when I zoom in to the max its still hard to distinquish which areas I should brush in or out because the edges seem to be 3 or 4 pixels wide .. does anyone have a solution to this ??!
Thanks,
Shane
