Were need to invest in an archival printer. We need to be able to print archival prints and also strip prints. Example size would be 10X30. Nothing over an 11X14 size on standard sizes. So any recommendations? I was looking at the Epson r2400 but wasn’t to sure on just how long of a print it can print. Anyway just any ideas would be helpful to point us in the right direction.
Thanks so much |

I'm sure you can print roll on the 2400. I have the 2200 and it takes a roll, though I don't know the max length (should indicate on their web site).
Epson has really taken up the dropped ball by Kodak, Fuji, polaroid etc to make printers, inks and paper for professional photographers.
I really like my 2200. And Epson's archival claims, (unlike other companies) are based in real-world situations (Kodak and Canon I've read use specious conditions to base their archival ratings.)
EDIT:
Spec Sheet for the 2400 on Epson's web site says Max print area is 13" X 44". |

I'm sure you'll like it. Make certain you have a good understanding of Color Management. Here is a link for printing from PS to Epson. http://www.computer-darkroom.com/
(Method 2: let "PS handle color" is best) |

Thanks for the tips guys. We got the 2400. Now can anyone recommend some good paper companies? Also were looking into printing with a long roll for strip prints (example size 5X30) I like the look of a canvas paper, but any recomendations would be nice.
Thanks Again
