i need to get the 2 over the w's. how would i combine the two without changing the animation?

Bring the animation of the 2 into ImageReady. You will see it has a bunch of different animation frames. Cut out the background of the 2 layer, and then bring the 2 w's into ImageReady and place them under the 2 layer.

create new layers for each rotation (or tween).. just make sure u can see the bg (opacity 100)

thanks. not quite sure as to how to use imageready, but ill figure it out, i hope. thats kinda what i figured had to be done. thanks again.

well, i still couldnt get it because the 2 is different frames for each rotation because i dont know how to animate it in one layer.

You don't animate it in one layer.

OK, I tried this myself (I am a newb) and got lucky!
Copied your images to my disk and opened the WW in PhotoShop.
Added 1 additional layer.
Opened the "2" image and copied it to the new layer in the WW image.
Made that layer visible only and /edit/transformed the image 45 degrees.
copied and pasted the transformed image. (automatically placed on a new layer.
Repeated the process until I had a full revolution of the 2.
Switched to Image Ready and duplicated the frame in the Animation panel, then set layers for that panel so that the WW and the next "2" layer was visible.
Repeated the process until all the layers were in the animation.
I had to edit each "2" layer in PhotoShop to delete the white background with the magic wand tool and delete key.
Final result was a .psd file so I changed the optimized settings to GIF and saved as optimized.
Viola!
If you want the "2" in a different location just reposition it in the first layer and then continue with the revolving procedure.
(I feel like I am finally getting the hang of this program!)
