I'm trying to design a webpage for the main page of a game club I belong to. I have the design and have cut it into pieces and gotten the measurements of all the pieces.

I have created the page based on those measurements and the page looks pretty darn good. EXCEPT there are some slight gaps in the final product.

http://www.moondographics.com/csa%20main%20page/

I have gone over the page/images 100 times today and now I have a headache and would like the help of people better than I.

Before you ask, I created the image as it is because all the links (which are NOT active) will have hover properties assigned.
I have done similar before, but did NOT have this problem .... that's what has me stumped.

HELP PLEASE!

If you need any other info, just ask

are you talking bout those little white lines in a few spots, totally randomly peppered into the image?

That is strange, if you are using a wysiwyg editor, it might be creating some unwanted code,

What you might try is to make sure all your cell padding, cell spacing, and border is all set to zero.

Hi Salvadore,
Oh yeah, all those little white spots .... hmmm

Checked, Double-Checked, Re-Checked, Re-Double-Checked and all set to zero. I'm using my old version of FrontPage cuz I can't figure out how to do what I want to do in DreamWeaver.

Okay ... but I also want rollovers on the links on the page.

By the way other than the fact that the images don't line up, what do you think of the page?

(will I be able to use a css stylesheet? because I need to have a specific multi-colored background to pull it ALL off as well.

I see something that might be causing problems, if you can get rid of them it would be good to remove the tags labeled "border" look for "border="0" and remove all these, as well as the "bordercolor" tag, this is set now to "#111111", remove these if you can,

Other then that the code looks good

Hi moondog, I hope this is what you are looking for in the jpg, if so the index.html is also attached with the changes that you needed to get rid of the whit lines.

Please copy the old index.html file just in case my index.html file is wrong then you will have the old one for a back up, please take this as a warning back up your old index.html file back it up.

lol just to make sure you get the point Big Grin, also if you are going to edit html by hand if you will, try downloading notepad++ it's a good program.

please by all mean get some one to check the code if you think I have added something you don't want but all I have done is change images size to get rid of the lines.

Also I had to download that page with images and all so that I could edit the code, I hope you don't mind, but this was the only way I could do it for you.

I hope this is right, let me know if you have any problem's, I maynot be good with PhotoShop (yet) but I am some what good with computers and html and so on.

this is the html file, but it say's index.txt just either open the file copy the whole text and paste it in to the index.html (But remember to make a back up of it)

Or change it from index.txt to index.html

index.txt
