heya.

i'm having trouble reopening a photoshop file that i've saved with the same photoshop application.

i've imported a quicktime file into the photoshop and have it set up in the animation panel as a video layer. this i can save and reopen.

then i add a new video layer and draw some titles with the paint brush on the new layer. i save this as a psd file. when i try and reopen it it says "could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of photoshop" - the weird this is its the same photoshop!

i save it as the standard "photoshop (*.PSD;*.PDD) and tried it with and without "maximize compatibility" checked.

i'm using ps cs5 extended on windows 7 (no "norton anti virus" (i read that can be a problem) but i do have Kasperkys)

any help would be appreciated - i've put quite a lot of work into theses hand animated titles.

thanks
