Hi everyone!

I really apreciate if you can help me with this problem...

Everytime i use the eyedrop tool, the selected color goes directly to the background color, and if I press Alt+Clic, then the color goes to the foreground color. Then, acording to my book (the one i'm using to learn photoshop) and other websites, the behavior of the eyedrop are inverted, so my question is:

What is causing this behavior and how do i fix it?

Thanks in advance.

By the way, this is a great site, seems i won't be leaving it anytime soon.. Big Wink
Pd. English is not my first language but i'm learning it, so if you see a problem in the redaction o this post, feel free to correct me

Welcome to the forum.
Easy fix. Just bring up your Color Palette (Window>Color) and in the upper-left check the foreground color icon. This should make your eyedropper sample colors as foreground.
