Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of howto get etched lines as per the logo at http://www.monsterserve.net/1090-rs.jpg, the line in question is the one between the 3 small icons at the top and the "Company Name" graphic. After tutorials to make stuff like these lines and other decorations for website graphics objects.

Many thanks,

Chris

hey my bad, there was a comma at the end. address: http://www.monsterserve.net/1090-rs.jpg should work!

people have been saying to me gradient fills and all sorts, but i was under the impression i could do this quickly with shadows and setting the blend mode to make lines (and indeed text) appear engraved or etched into something.

I have tried to find it out before posting but i am really stuck!

It looks like a layer style to me, bevel/emboss probably, get your wavy lines om a seperate layer, double click next to the little pic on the layers palette and you'll get the layer styles box, I'd try pillow emboss and play about with the settings. Wayne
